With over 35 years of experience in Children’s Ministry, the creator of Next Steps has spent a lifetime helping kids understand who Jesus is and how to follow Him. After decades of leading countless conversations about salvation, baptism, and spiritual growth, one thing became clear — there needed to be a resource that made these big truths simple, memorable, and personal for kids.

 

To meet that need, a team of Children’s Ministers and church leaders from across the country joined forces to create a workbook that’s both theologically sound and kid-approved. The result - Next Steps was created. A creative, Christ-centered guide designed to spark meaningful conversations, guide kids through the foundations of faith, and give families and churches a clear roadmap for discipling the next generation.

 

Out of this vision, Empty Tomb Creations, LLC was formed — an organization committed to creating content, curriculum, and resources that equip churches and families to disciple the next generation with clarity, creativity, and biblical truth.

 

Every page of Next Steps reflects that shared passion for helping kids not just know about Jesus — but to truly grow in knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of who Jesus is.
